Update

I had a prenatal checkup last Friday and the Dr has finally agreed to put me on his calendar for an induction!! We can't schedule with the hospital just yet, but to have a date planned and an end in sight is such a huge relief. So...Monday July 13th we will welcome our baby boy!! Whitney is scheduled to be baptised the Saturday before, so let's just hope everything goes as now planned and we don't have any surprises! :)

Zions Park

Last weekend Chris had a dermatology conference in Zions and asked the girls and I to come along for the quick trip (Thursday-Saturday). Chris would have gotten more rest those two nights without us,(Lindsie was NOT happy to be in a different bed and totally congested!) but all in all it was fun for the girls and I to have a change of pace and scenery. While Chris worked the booth and golfed with doctors we went to the park, shopping, and enjoyed the somewhat warmer weather and sunshine. Whitney was obsessed with buying souvenir rocks (which are everywhere) and even some earrings made from rocks.

Lindsie's first time on a swing...she loved it!

Happy Easter!

Girls in their new dresses and ready for Church.
Lindsie just can't smile at the camera without a big cheesy grin...too funny!
Hope you all had as wonderful an Easter Season as we did!
Hooray for SPRING!!

Here comes TROUBLE!!

Last Friday morning, Chris was working in his office and Lindsie and I had just come home from running errands. I was busy in the kitchen and realized Lindsie wasn't with me. I yelled up the stairs to Chris asking if he was watching her. "NO" was his reply. As I'm walking up the stairs I realize that Chris has left the bathroom door open and I see Lindsie RUN in and slam the door. So I turn the knob to open the door and Lindsie has pulled one of the drawers out and the door will NOT open! (See picture...)
I start talking to Lindsie through the door telling her to "close the pretty's" and "mommy wants to come in", but nothing is working. I get down on my hands and knees to look under the door and can see her sitting on the ground playing with Whitney's chapstick! Uggh! I can see the pink waxy mess all over her hands and can smell the strawberry scent like it was on my own lips! I try to reach under the door, and she pushes my fingers away with her greasy little hand. Not sure how to get the door open I ask Chris to come and help me. He tries a ruler, a kitchen knife, a pen, and anything we can find in the office. They are all too wide and are just scratching up the door and door frame and not moving the drawer closed at ALL! He eventually gets a wire hanger and tries sticking IT through the cracked door.
LONG story short...he FINALLY gets the drawer to move enough for us to get our hands in and shut the drawer. YEAH!
Lindsie was quite Happy in there by herself and was proud to show me what she had found and was EATING (including the lid)! The look on her face in the picture says it all. :)

Lesson to be learned: Close the bathroom door CHRIS! Whitney knows better than to leave her bedroom or bathroom door open for "Trouble".

Today: Chris still owes Whitney a new "HSM 3" chapstick in the color and flavor of her choice. This has helped calm Whitney's anger slightly and she is finally laughing at the situation. (Thank goodness!)
