Happy Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving day was Lindsie's first trip out of the house. We traveled to Nana and Papa's house for a delicious dinner with the family.
I am forever thankful for my family...complete with a
loving and devoted husband and two beautiful little girls!

1st Lost Tooth!
Happy Halloween!
Whitney was a cute Witch this year, along with her cousins Abbie and Hallie. Earlier in the month Nana and Papa took the girls to Gardner Village for "Witches Night Out" and then a sleepover at their house. This has become a tradition and they LOVE it!

"Disco Daddy" took Whitney trick-or-treating, while I stayed home and gave out candy. They joined friends in the neighborhood and had a terrific time! Happy Halloween...8 days to go!!

A Sad Day for Whitney
On October 25th Whitney lost her pet fish Lola. She was devastated! She'd had the fish since her 4th birthday. We knew she was sick and was not acting like herself, but it was still a shock for Whitney to come home from school and find that Lola had died. After lots of tears, I finally convinced her that Lola had to be flushed.
Lola was replaced by Daisy (a blue Beta), who committed fishy suicide and jumped out of her bowl a couple of weeks before Christmas. Oops! Luckily Santa sees everything and delivered Ginger (red Beta) on Christmas morning!

Although it was a sad day for Whitney, it was a fun and exciting day for me! My good friends surprised me with a baby shower! I went to a friends house for lunch and was surprised to find family, friends and neighbors all there to support me and give gifts to our baby to be! Thanks to all of you for everything! I love you all!

The Fall colors are Beautiful! Every Fall we take a drive in the mountians and then get out and hike around to collect brightly colored leaves. Whitney was not going to let me out of it this year! So, on a brisk afternoon we went to Mueller Park in Bountiful and walked the trails. Whitney collected a whole bag of leaves and pinecones and loved being in nature!

We visited a pumpkin patch in West Farmington where they have a hay maze for kids. Whitney thought it was great and ran through at least 5 times! We walked around the huge pumpkin patch and picked our most favorite pumpkins from the vine.

September 2007
With Whitney in school all day I had lots of time to work at home and get ready for the baby's arrival in November. Too bad I didn't get as much done as I had planned. I spent lots of time waiting for contractors for the basement as well as repair work upstairs. The work in the basement is coming along nicely, and even Whitney enjoyed helping her Daddy grout the shower. Chris and I traveled to Santa Barbara, CA for a wedding and enjoyed some much needed R & R as it was my last time to getaway before my due date. Whitney and I had a great (and very messy) time making Sprinkles Red Velvet cupcakes for Daddy after a long work week out of town. Thanks Glen and Thoa!!

August 2007
Wow this month was a HOT one! Being pregnant I had a hard time wanting to do anything outside! Whitney still enjoyed swimming at our pool, but I'd only agree to go if it was later in the evening. One night we went with my whole family to the Sandy Amphitheatre and saw a production of Beauty and the Beast. The little girls loved it!!
On Aug 28th Whitney started First Grade! She struggled being gone all day and eating lunch at school for the first week or so, but has really grown to love it! She enjoys having her friend Luke in her class, and loves her teacher Mrs. Kennington.
