July 2007

This month we spent time on Papa's boat, went swimming in our neighborhood pool and spent time outdoors watching all the fireworks. We took our annual trip to the Layton Park for the 4th and then enjoyed a visit from Aunt Kathy and Kendal from San Diego over the 24th of July Holiday. Kendal brought her wii and Whitney was hooked! We took our first trip to The Day's of 47 Rodeo with Kathy and Kendal and had a great time!!

June 2007

This was a very busy month. Whitney graduated from Kindergarten, participated in a Spring Dance Recital and turned 6!! She had her first "friend birthday party" in the backyard and enjoyed lunch and cake, as well as playing games and hitting a pinata with her friends. We also had a great time this month at a Beez baseball game with the Campbells, and Chris and I took a dream vacation to the Island of Nevis with his company Stiefel Laboratories. We had a wonderful and very memorable time!!

May 2007

This month we took a quick weekend trip to Arizona for Uncle Adam's wedding. His new wife Paola is beautiful! Whitney thinks she looks like Disney's 'Jasmine'. We look forward to getting to know her better hopefully sometime in 2008! While in AZ we enjoyed spending time with our family and Whitney loved swimming with her cousins.

BIG NEWS!!

After years of prayers and wishing on stars...

Whitney will finally become a BIG SISTER!!

Ears Pierced

Whitney had been wearing sticker earings and when they were gone she begged to have her ears pierced. We were shocked and in awe that she actually went through with it and didn't even cry! She is very proud of herself and has been taking good care of then just as she was instructed. The earings she chose are pink rinestone flowers - so cute!!
